The Livewood

ByWilliam Huff

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The Livewood was being designed to establish self-replicating extraterrestrial colonies. Many bright students dreamed of joining this adventure as a means of escaping the controlling culture of Earth. When one such student attempts to gain more control of his own life, severe repercussions ensue, placing his life’s dream even further out of reach. His ensuing desperate struggle for survival itself brought forth his cunning creativity and resourcefulness. These demonstrated the very attributes that qualified him for this program, and the repercussions were designed to develop his abilities to deal with unexpected situations. As politics and the threat of war consumed Earth, the Livewood program and the colony it would carry would determine who would rule the solar system. An enigma for the belligerents that protected it, was that since both the primary factions wanted it, they had to work together to get the craft completed and launched. The science involved in this novel of ironies and surprises contains radical theories that have yet to be disproven. These are introduced to challenge science-oriented readers to either debunk or discuss them.
