A murder mystery with powerful characters in the mid 90s.
John Bible was shot on Charles Street in downtown Baltimore. He had just dropped off a clasp envelope with some pictures and names in it with an attorney whose office he had walked into by mistake. He wanted the envelope taken to his sister, if something happened to him.
Frank Browne was an attorney in practice for himself, who didn't make enough to use the long form for his taxes. He didn't want to deliver the envelope to anyone after seeing John Bible on the sidewalk outside his building. But he felt he had no choice.
Nora Bible was a proficient surgeon. When she found out that it was Colonel Javier Rivera who had her brother shot, that he was with the Special Forces in Guatemala, that it was his habit when someone hurt his feelings, he would shoot them, everyone told Nora to bury her brother and let all this go. They were certain she would. She did not.
