Kenny Brown was perfect in every way, but when she decides to take a trip to California to visit him, she learns that he failed to mention a few things over the months they shared online and on the phone. After unexpected friendships form, and unbelievable events take place, Nichelle finds herself on a journey of no return. As the story unfold in greater detail, she shares the entanglements of romance, shocking raw sexual experience, and the overall tenderness that forces her in the arms of Kenny's best friend, Brian. Nichelle soon finds herself at a crossroad. She has to give up on the same thing she has to fight for, love.

Sep 21, 2009"Journey" Age 21 I loved the book from beginning to end (even though it left me hangin at the end). I couldn't stop reading it. The book was a true page turner because it was exciting, funny, and there were time when I cried. this book is more than fictional, it's inspirational. I can't wait for your next book to come out.
Aug 15, 2009"Journey" I love the book! You know a book is good when you are reading it, you can't put it down, and you imagine it in your mind as though it were a movie. I can't wait for the next book. At the beginning the characters were a bit confusing but they made sense once I passed the first two chapters. This book show the spirit and talent of the writer. It is easy to relate to Nichelle because she is an everyday woman. It show how other women can be evil, and that is so sad.
Aug 8, 2009"Journey To The Last River" Age 47 By Lorna Lund I had the pleasure of reading Ms. Stanley's first book ! Beautifully written ! This is a story of emotional struggle and triumph ! In the end, it left me hanging ! I am now wondering what happened ? It is also filled with laughter, generosity, love, kindness and respect ! This is truly a book for those who look for encouragement ! The main character reminds me much of the writer herself as I have had the blessing of having met Ms. Wanda and spent time with her ! What a beautiful soul she has ! This would be a great book for those between 13 and 100 years old ! What a wonderful journey to go on ! Now all I need is book number 2 ! Hint ! Hint, Ms. Wanda ! Always Blessings, Never Losses ! "L"
