Nichole Brown is a young girl growing into woman-hood without the love and guidance of her mother. "Sleep Away Innocence" The story was well written and easy to follow. The book told a story that you actually wanted to read and ultimately find a resolution. The storyline was believable and was about everyday people. The part of the book that stood out most was Nikki and how it and she progressed. There were several parts where I felt as though I was there, going through it with Nikki. I would love to see a continuation of the storyline and how it effects the other characters. I also want to know if they will get married. I would recommend this book to a friend. Makeba Daniels Male 32
