"needs some more work " They are saying the anthology is good now but I think it needs some work before they could even sell it. I am guessing with when they uploaded it they were not using Open Source to work with the thing. I am not slamming the authors in this, just suggesting they need to work on the book from the looks of the interior -- it might not work well on a 6 x 9 format but it might work better on a british Paperback format.
"A Substantial Read" After reading the 2007 Word Weavers anthology, I was expecting great things from the 2008 version. I was not disappointed. This collection of ambitious, sometimes controversial, always readable stories is something that can be enjoyed again and again. From shorter tales that can be read in a single sitting or a cigarette break at work, to longer, fictions which are almost like novellas in scale, there is something for everyone. Short stories are too often looked upon as a neglected artform, but Word Weavers continue to wave the flag. Excellent work!
