In this anthology, 30 young women from pre-teens through late-teens expressed their thoughts and feelings on what it means to discover their voices. The poems were collected during Young Women Writing for (a) Change classes held from 2000-2008. Referring to this book, one of the facilitators writes: "What you have in your hands is a collection of texts, but it is also a glimpse into this circle of remarkable young writers, who write, listen, create, and support one another in finding their voices." Cincinnati-based ArtsWave and the Ohio Arts Council supported the classes.
