2010 Abington Heights New Playwrights Festival
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Human: 2010 Abington Heights New Playwrights Festival Anthology features the collected works of thirteen student writers and two student artists...all of whom frequent the halls and classrooms of Abington Heights High School in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.
The sixteen monologues and one-act plays collected in this volume were chosen from over fifty submissions as the best dramatic literature Abington Heights has to offer. Each piece is unique in and of itself...one is about the joy and heartache of a first love, another addresses the apprehension of school pictures, while yet another presents a man, a woman, a deer, and some simple organ trafficking...but no matter what the content, they all do what only the best dramatic literature can do...teach us something about ourselves. Each selection in this anthology says something about what it is like to be human and what it is like to live in this world. Some are ridiculously silly, while others are heartbreakingly real, but all of them are honest.
