This book presents pictures and information about my father, Zane Geier. It includes his travels to over 40 foreign countries, some interesting and humorous experiences, happiness and distress associated with three marriages, his thoughts on a few issues, some noteworthy stories, and a summary of his professional achievements and accolades. A chapter is devoted to his hobbies and interests. An appendix contains information about kinfolks who played an important role in his life. This project was originally intended to chronicle the stories my father told me about his life for sake of future generations within our family. However, the level of general interest has grown far beyond our original expectations. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it. It was truly a labor of love.

Oct 23, 2012I am the former wife Nell Yvonne Greenbauer. I am alive and well and 20-years younger than Geier. Corrections to his tall tales that he thought I would never know about!Fact #1) We met in the U.S. General Accounting Office, Atlanta, GA and I actually worked for him! #2) After his then wife Violent filed for divorce and forced him out of the home, he rented the apartment on first floor beneath my 2nd floor unit to be in close proximity to me -- what a tall tale he spun! I'm sure any former GAO co-worker of ours has had many laughs off that one -- they all knew the truth! #4)I never "traveled around the Southeast" --some tale he told! My husband was the primary breadwinner and a manager on aerospace and defense projects--as his wife I relocated with my husband always! #5) My husband and I separated and I secured employment with the GAO in Atlanta, prior to relocating there with my children. #6) The big financial settlment he paid me was about $5,000 (pocket change for him).... More > #7) Violent did not clean him financially (of course he waited til sue died to publish his tall tales). Since he showed no respect for my privacy or that of my children (in my humble opinion) when spinning his tall tales. I remember in his divorce process that Violet's attorney returned some valuable Zimbawbe stock certificates thinking they were worthless! FACT: Zane Geier and I married twice (I have the marriage certificates) once while living in Atlanta and then the second time he came to Ft. Worth and talked me into remarrying and returning to Atlanta. He also tried to get me to marry a 3rd time and I after two marriages and the same lies and deceptive behavior from him, I ended the relationship forevermore! In my older years, I can truthfully say I wish I'd never known that man. Looks like he was intent on trying to make himself look good since he realizes he is 86 years old now! He obviously had no regards for my privacy nor that of my children. Let's see if there is a law against such! If not, watch for "Yvonne tells It All About Her Days With Zane" as I'll surely publish a tell all!< Less
