This book is about stories of Indonesian living abroad, how they deal with different culture and society. As an Indonesian living abroad myself, I can understand and relate my life to these stories. It is like reading my own experience, quite amusing.
"good reference book!" For Indonesian who are planning to move to other countries or those who are about to move because of family, bussines or job related, this book is a good reference to see what to expect and how to adjust with new lifestyle, culture and taste of food!!! Simply a nice reading material in "Chicken Soup for The Soul" Style...worth buying and reading for it have 250 oages and 8 writers in it! WOW!!!
"A superb companion book over coffee" Thumbs Up! (All Stars) Zara and friends' Teman Minum Kopi is unlike other Indonesian books. It is succint, juicy, and heartwarming. As a published author myself, I find this book is more than a chick lit or a product of the so-called "pop culture." It is a literary publication in its simplest and easy-to-digest form, that many readers would find it a superb companion over coffee, hence the title. Zara and friends have captured my heart; I'm sure it will capture yours as well. Jennie S. Bev
