Minerals of the Kara Mine, Tasmania
More than fifty minerals have been recorded from the Kara Mine, a small tungsten/magnetite mine in northwestern Tasmania. It has been in operation for nearly 30 years and mineral collectors can find some rare and aesthetic minerals in the open cut. This book describes each of the minerals and includes high quality photographs of many of them. It is the first of a proposed series of books dealing with the mineral occurrences in Australasia.
