Jonathan C. Smith, PhD
Dr. Jonathan C. Smith is an international expert on stress, relaxation, meditation, and mindfulness. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Professor of Psychology at Chicago's Roosevelt University, and Founding Director of the Roosevelt University Stress Institute. Dr. Smith has published 20 books and more than three dozen articles on stress, relaxation, and meditation. His innovative ABC2 System of Relaxation, Meditation, and Mindfulness has won wide professional acclaim. Dr. Smith has taught his approaches to thousands and has served as consultant for government, business, educational, medical, and health organizations in the US, Canada, Australia, Spain, France, India, Germany, and the People's Republic of China. Currently he is an active member of the USA branch of the International Stress Management Association and is part of a team exploring and developing national standards for stress management programs.
