Note: The "In My Own Words" series of books are not authoritative. I am merely a student of the scriptures. Consider these books as being collections of my own study notes. My intention is to work with them again and again over the years and bring them closer and closer to the truth with each pass. They contain many quotes that might be helpful to other fellow students. They also contain my own explanations on some difficult areas of the scriptures. But, I cannot guarantee their veracity.

The Book of Mormon prophet Nephi singled out these chapters stating that in the days just before the return of Jesus Christ that these prophecies would become extremely important to the people of the Earth. Unfortunately, because of ornate grammar and obscure vocabulary, these chapters are not understood by most students of scripture. In this work, I take all 22 chapters and write them out in my own words in prose that is easy to understand. What do these scriptures say? You'll probably be surprised to find the simple, powerful and shocking message that has lain hidden in plain sight for so long.
