Devon M. Scott is a native Texan with a variety of interests ranging from architecture to art deco, classic cars to ocean liners and beyond. A man of myriad talents he has operated his own small business marketing agency, produced live entertainment events, worked as a radio personality & news anchor, lecturer, and more.
Devon may be best known for having produced, directed & hosted the "Nashville Country Showcase", a weekly variety show at The Texas Troubadour Theater in Nashville, Tennessee. Others may remember him as the Ship's Historian aboard the S/S Norway. In that position he performed numerous tasks as part of the entertainment staff & created an onboard history program that included, among other things, lecturing on the Golden Age of Liners and the S/S Norway herself.
Devon is now back in Houston. He recently served as Director of the SS United States Trust working to save America's Flagship. He is currently pursuing his interest in aviation by starting a flying club.
