RJohn was born as the computer revolution began and took to it like a duck to water. After a short stint in the military the IT industry became his lifelong career. It allowing him to live and work throughout the UK, in many cities across Australia, and inevitably to enjoy the great diversity of peoples found only here in the USA. Travel exposed him to cultures as diverse as the Nepalese Gurkhas, and residents of the world’s greatest cities.
Home is where you hang your hat! And RJohn’s hats have been at home in far too many places.
His interest in poetry began as a way to keep in touch with friends overseas, more personal than just sending an inter-flora bouquet.
And when word processors arrived, with those wonderful built-in spell checkers, the last obstacle to writing a novel evaporated overnight.
While ‘Resting’ between contracts the ideas for THE MELD germinated in his fertile mind but being a perfectionist the novel was slow to mature.
It has now 'Come of Age!'
