Riverside Cemetery is Denver's Pioneer Cemetery. The Cemetery opened in 1876. Many of the early pioneers, movers and shakers... More > and politicians of the era are interred here.

Riverside Cemetery quit taking new burials in 2005. It is owned by Fairmount Cemetery in Denver. The grounds are no longer irrigated and many of the trees, bushes, and flowers have died. The Fairmount Heritage Foundation is working on a plan to plant native grasses and drought resistant flowers on the cemetery grounds.

A stroll through Riverside is a stroll through history. This calendar represents just a small amount of the photography I have taken at Riverside. More can be found on my web site at www.stevej46photography.com.

More > began my quest for contemporary scenery that reflected their style . My photographs include waterfowl, piers, lighthouses, palm trees, sunsets, rivers, lakes and the Atlantic Ocean.

I am a Colorado native. Most of my photography is from Colorado. I enjoy photographing landscapes, trains, Koi, flowers, barns, wildlife, birds, and more.

In 2009, we spent the summer in Central Florida. It was here that we became interested in the Florida Highwaymen, a group of 26 black artists who painted with oils on Upson Board. Their photography showed rural scenes of Florida from back in the 1950's and 60's. I was intrigued by their artwork. It was after seeing many of paintings in art galleries, art festivals and books, that I began looking for scenes similar to what these black artists painted.

I of Florida is my first eBook. It shows my photography artwork that was inspired by the Florida Highwaymen.
