Arnold E. van Beverhoudt, Jr. lives on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands with his wife, Helena. He has been a life-long naval history and space exploration enthusiast and a first-generation Star Trek fan, having been hooked since the first episode aired in 1966.
For 35 years Arnold was an auditor with the Office of Inspector General, U.S. Department of the Interior. He performed and supervised audits of the revenues and expenditures of the U.S. island territories in the Caribbean and Pacific.
Arnold has a personal web site and a Facebook page that contain information and photos about naval history, aviation, space exploration, science fiction, and many other topics.
His first book "These Are The Voyages" chronicles the stories of 70 vessels that have carried the name "Enterprise" throughout history, from the Spanish Armada to Star Trek. "Island Boy" tells his personal story of growing up on a small Caribbean island. His "Photobooks" present full-color photos on various topics.
