An Alumna of Baylor University, C.E. Thornton began writing books in elementary school, taking up her first major project, "Shadowchild" at age 15. Now 23, Thornton works as an insurance proposal specialist and continues to write fiction and music in her spare time. Thornton plans to delve into new and more diverse projects upon the completion of "The Guardians of the Light Trilogy" in 2012.
