Changemaker is a unique resource. We publish a range of books and journals that aim for new insights into our country's history and the prospects of social change toward a more democratic order. We were founded by Carl Davidson, a widely known writer, editor, speaker, and political activist. His work spans from the 1960s new left to the present day. Changemaker takes Pittsburgh as its base, and Davidson lives nearby. Changemaker also works closely with the Online University of the Left.
