Brian Jeffreys is a reader, writer, father, technologist (geek), and science fiction writer. Brian grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma, and later moved to Dallas, Texas. After pursuing engineering, physics, and mathematical disciplines at several colleges and universities, he was awarded his BS in Computer Science from Dallas Baptist University. Brian loves gadgets and is constantly working to discover how to derive energy from gravitation. He lives in the North Texas area with his wife, three cats, and three children (one with autism). Brian is the author of science fiction novels, including Fall of the Terran Empire, Orion Gambit, Glory and Empire, and Plato's Gateway.
