I am the author of these books, by which I more than imply that I am responsible for their being here. I write mostly in typewriter fonts (like Courier) in a block form I call Box poems, where the line length is determined by the number of typed character in the first line. I call this poetry, or the kind of art it is, Concrete Formalism, as it is a form with a strong visual character and purpose.
I have a traditional background (PENN, Writer's Workshop) but do not publish in a traditional manner, as, first, my work is simply not very popular and, second, there is a lot of it, and in order to keep going I have to get it out into the world the best way I can. Also, hate cant, and I do believe in purity in art, at least insofar as one can make it work. Publishing here helps to make it work for me.
