Michael Farahay, the younger of two sons, was raised in central Ohio in the middle-class neighborhood of Colonial Hills in Worthington. Both Michael and his brother Roger excelled in art and sports and earned scholarships.
Michael's education was spread from Ohio to California and Washington State. He graduated from Southern State at Fincastle, Ohio in 1984.
Michael's first successes began with publishing his poetry on limited edition art-prints. The first were BUTTERFLIES, ANY CHILD, and HUNTERS CREEK. As well as Michael's successful books, he has been a contributing author to the late Al Aronowitz's The BLACK-LISTED JOURNALIST publications.
