Josh's photography comes from hundreds of backcountry driving, hiking and backpacking trips to remote National Forest and protected wilderness destinations throughout Idaho and the Northwest.
His work has been published in multiple local, regional, national and international print and web mediums. He is often referred to as 'The Hot Springs Guy', having tracked-down and photographed hundreds of natural geothermal wonders, many of which require multiple days of strenuous backpacking to reach.
Josh has been featured in 'National Geographic Traveler', broadcast news and numerous print publications in regard to the preservation of natural hot springs and roadless areas. He has received geothermal and wetland training from the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), has a degree in Business Management from Boise State and his websites generate over 20K unique visitors each month.
