Joanne Burns, was born in Dayton, Ohio, and resided in Kansas City Kansas until 1978 when she moved to the Town of Crawford in Orange County New York. She relocated to Myrtle Beach, Sc in 2008. Joanne has an Associate of Arts from Orange County Community College and studied Art at Columbus College of Art and Design and the Kansas City Art Institute and Journalism and Public Relations at SUNY New Paltz in New York.
She has 6 children and 11 grandchildren. Her illustrations have been produced in a variety of media, including pencil, pen and ink, water color and pastels. Her beautifully illustrated stories are written in rhyme for easy reading. Please click on each book for more detail .
