Kara Louise is the author of several books based on Jane Austen's novel, "Pride and Prejudice." She self-published 6 of them here at lulu, and 2 were picked up by a publisher, "Darcy's Voyage" and "Only Mr. Darcy Will Do." You will still find the other 4 here, as well as a new one due out in Fall, 2011.

She grew up in the San Fernando Valley, just north of Los Angeles. She is the middle of three sisters, all of whom lean to the creative arts - singing, art, and writing (each has her own expertise!). She is married and has one grown, married son. She and her family moved to Kansas from Los Angeles in 1991. She and her husband currently live out in the country on 10 acres and are entertained by a dog, 6 cats, 3 horses, and 4 goats.
