Lisa Scullard has been writing since as far back as she can remember. Which is a good thing, because if the time ever comes that the furthest back she can recall is yesterday, she can read her own books just to find out what she spent those lost years doing... But seriously... Having spent her adult life from her teens onwards in and out of surgery for Graves' Disease (and a very good job they did of it too), surviving school bullying, juggling some strange jobs for a woman (bartender in a biker bar, motorcycle maintenance mechanic, nightclub security officer), delving into a variety of academic subjects (from Physics & Engineering to ITEC Holistic Therapies), single parenthood, and martial arts to hula-hooping to parkour - writing is what has kept her sane. When she wants to be... :) She admits to being inspired by Spike Milligan, Monty Python, Tom Sharpe, Britney Spears, listening to too much music, and the world of Barbie Dolls. She is not interested in handbags - only shoes ;)
