This volume shows what can be seen in Ursa Major through a large powerful telescope, the Sloan Digital Telescope at Apache Point Observatory in Arizona, a multi-filter imaging 2.5 meter scope which also records spectroscopic redshift details. The Sloan Telescope Survey commenced in 2000 and aims to map 25% of the sky, and record observations on about 100 million objects.
