Motesem Mansur (b. 1986) was inspired to begin writing and making art by his father, an artist and author who relocated from Palestine to Brazil in 1959.
Since 2011, Motesem has written stories about about disability, diversity, bullying, homelessness, mental illness, gang violence, motivation, and empowerment. He has impacted thousands of children, families, organizations, and community leaders nationwide with his efforts to better the world. Many view him as a true inspiration and a powerful life changer. His stories are fueled by his traumatic experiences from being bullied in the community. Motesem has Asperger's syndrome and his IQ is 146.
