M. Steven Smith writes about the modern day Christian experience. He believes that the Christian path is an adventure filled with wonder and excitement. He encourages his readers to take a hold on life with passion and courage and that nothing is impossible where God is concerned.

He starting writing as a freshman in high school. His 9th grade English teacher allowed him to pen a novel in her class instead of completing the normal textbook assignments. In college he received the coveted 'Writer of the Year' award for four consecutive years.

When not writing books, he keeps himself busy writing, recording and performing Acoustic Christian music, working as the pastor of a small home-missions church, and being a husband, father and grandfather.

He enjoys spending time out of doors with his family and their two German Shepherds, Max and Sam.
