I have been writing music and poetry since I was a child. I am only just beginning to make it available to the public. It has taken me years to understand my own writing. Still, I am blown away by the depth and beauty of my work. I'll always remember the school librarian when I was in high school for the remark she made in regards to the poetry I recited to her during study hall when I was a library aide, "I have never met anyone so young who understands unrequited love as you do. You are genius." Of course, at 16 I couldn't really accept that for myself, but since growing up and getting out into the world, I have to admit. my writing is pretty spectacular in comparison to most of what hits the shelves today.
I first had a story published when I was in first grade. Then various poems in journals throughout my teenage years. Then I stopped sending my work out while I focused on music composition. Now I have page after page of brilliant sensual poignant writing to share.
