Mr. Macaw Gives a History Lesson By Norma Jean
eBook (PDF): $20.00
I have thought of how best to introduce my Granddaughter to the history of Guyana and I hope I came up with a fun way that all children will enjoy. I attempted to tell a brief history of Guyana... More > through the eyes of a Macaw who is the one of the longest living birds of the Amazon and Guyana rainforest. I have deemed this story as fiction because I worried about the accuracy of some of the written material to avoid challenges. Macaw tells how many changes his Grandparents and Great Grandparent have seen over the years and pass it all down to him as bed time stories. Mr. Macaw tells the history in 16 chapters, which I thought would be enough to read one chapter at a time to my little one. I want her to enjoy what she hears and learn to love her grand parent’s heritage and culture. I wanted to stimulate the curiosity in her to want to visit Guyana and learn from what she heard in her childhood and to enjoy her visit there because she knows the history.< Less

Seniors Stay Forever Young By Norma Jean, Joycelyn Scott
Paperback: $20.00
Prints in 3-5 business days
My motivation for writing this book was to let seniors know that it is never too late to reclaim your health and wellness and to do something about it. My cardiologist once told me that my heart was... More > very weak. I took what he said to heart and decided to do something about it, so I started to exercise diligently six hours every week. On my last visit to the cardiologist, he said that he did not need to see me for a while because my heart has gotten stronger. It was proof to me that exercises do work. You can reclaim your health and wellness and own it. With the help of Joycelyn, we have tried our utmost to make you more informed, which will hopefully help you to make an informed decision on how to choose what exercises are best for your health and well being. Get off your chair and start moving your body. Embrace the power of fitness in your life and feel alive and well. Stay forever young.< Less
