Michael R. Daciek, born in Bartley, West Virginia, is a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and retired Frontier/Continental Captain. As a freelance writer he has published numerous aviation short stories and children's books. After publishing his first novel, "A Change of Heart," he is now writing a non-fiction book, "Life in West Virginia from 1910 through 1944."
