I have a Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries & Wildlife Management and spent the first eight years of my career with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency… first as a wildlife law enforcement officer and then a variety of positions ranging from Wildlife Photographer, Photo Editor, Video Producer, Regional I & E Coordinator and Interim I & E Chief.
My wife and I returned to Chattanooga, our hometown, when our children were born. Our roots run deep. However I couldn't give up my desire to spread the message of conservation and the outdoors, hence a lifelong committment to the outdoor writing field.
