About Sarah Protzman Howlett

Sarah is the founder of NNYers.com, the only blog exclusively for young professionals new to the city or planning to relocate. The site is an offshoot of her memoir, "Two Years in New York City," published in early 2009.

Sarah has worked for Condé Nast in New York City, writing and editing for fashion trade publications including WWD. Her work has also appeared in O, The Oprah Magazine, Prevention, and New York Magazine's Daily Intel blog.

After graduating from the University of Missouri and backpacking solo through Europe, Sarah began her career a features writer and columnist in Western Colorado, where she also appeared on TV and radio as the face of the local entertainment scene.

Sarah now works as a freelance writer and editor (for hire!), and lives in Boulder, Colo., with her husband and coffee maker.
