Skip works in education. His primary job is that of a Special Education Aide in a Connecticut k-2 school. It is there that he witnesses children "getting" more than some believe they are capable of understanding.

It is also there that he uses his unique combination of simple, hand-drawn objects and ability to break down complex concepts into simple graphic representations.
