Jack Michael Stubblefield (aka: Stubb) lives deep in the coastal Everglades of SW Florida on Chokoloskee Island. The island is small, 150 acres, and connected by a causeway to an equally small fishing village called Everglades City. If you don't like the water, boats and fishing, there's no reason to be there. The nearest grocery store is 35 miles away in Naples, Fl.
Stubb has sailed, poled, paddled and motored the coasts and rivers of Florida for 30 years. He writes articles and stories for a number of outdoor related magazines. Humor, close observation, and hard experience are the subjects of these short pieces.
