They got drunk, stole kerosene, doused the Iroj's cottage in a dry typhoon and the wind carried the flames and two cottages were burned down and the project was terminated. That was for the best because even then sea levels were rising. Now the frequent tropical rains, the only source of drinking water, are gone. But, memories of the melodic singing of the natives lingers on. Friends were made and were left behind but fond memories linger on.< Less
