The written word has always fascinated me – something I no doubt genetically inherited from my father, Brian. I published my first novel, Puppet on a String, in 2003. Then, having spent most of my career in computers and websites, I took the decision in 2009 to focus on writing.

But my first love has always been music. A trained singer with the London Philharmonic Choir, I also followed my dad in his large footsteps into the world of discography; where his metier was traditional jazz, mine was more rock music. My tastes are eclectic and this perhaps explains why I followed the Moody Blues Encyclopaedia with a recording catalogue of Cliff Richard and then the Shadows.

I have just published my latest work, The Moody Blues Recording Catalogue, on 10th February 2012.
