Lulu's Thank You Note Program
The Thank You Note Program is exactly what it sounds like--it's a way for publishers to send a message directly to their buyers, thanking them for purchasing their content. Lulu publishers have continually asked for ways to contact buyers, and based on your requests we have created this Thank You Note Program.

Last month we told you about the pajama program, but here's a quick recap, it's a non-profit organization that provides warm pajamas and like-new children's books to underprivileged kids. To help out the pajama program, Lulu is going to host Publish In Your Pajamas Week, September 5-11th. For each person who signs up for Pajama Week and publishes on Lulu while wearing pajamas, we will donate a Lulu children's book to the Pajama Program. Help the less fortunate, and in your softest plaid flannel. It is, indeed, its own reward.

At Lulu, we try to give you quick, friendly customer service. However, we also have a finger monster in residence and he isn't always so nice. Below are some of his responses to those foolish enough to e-mail him. His opinions are not necessarily the opinions of Lulu staff.

Finger Monster Says.
If you have a question for Finger Monster, please send it to fingermonster@lulu.com. Remember, Finger Monster only answers e-mails in the newsletter, since his poor arms are all floppy and typing is hard for him. If you would like to avoid the wrath of our plastic terror, you can find polite and caring help at the http://www.lulu.com/forums.

From the desk of Bob Young: "The remarkable thing about the Internet is its primary feature - that of enabling anyone to reach out to anyone else anywhere else on the planet. This puts more control of your life in your hands. You no longer have to rely on some giant organization - whether the phone company, or your government or a publisher - to help you communicate with like-minded people half way around the world."
