Alzheimer's and the Workplace
I have written this book for the benefit of caregivers, personal and professional, full-time and occasional who would like to find a way to communicate more effectively with people who have Alzheimer's Disease. If you can understand what makes a person tick, why he does the things he does, you can often find ways to reach him. Two keys to this understanding are knowing who he was before the disease, and being able to go where he is now. This book offers practical skills for anyone who encounters folks with Alzheimer's -- police, clergy, nursing home staff, families, etc.

The Travels and Adventures of a Very Small Bear
This is the story of a little bear who lived in a cupholder in a car. One day, he was allowed to go along on a road trip, and was let out of the car. It was too much freedom too soon and CarBear ran off in all directions. He eventually learns proper bear behavior, but is filled with a vagabond spirit.

Letters to My Sisters
Over an eleven year span, I wrote letters to my sisters describing the experience of caring for my Mother who had Alzheimer's Disease. These letters served as a journal describing what it was like living with this disease for both Mom and myself. I start with a brief background on Mom's early life and then the letters begin, covering her time living in my home, in a nursing home, and her death.
