The Promise of
Sustainability
At RIT, we strive to embody sustainability, innovation, and creativity. Our commitment to sustainability crosses disciplinary boundaries, including but not limited to product development, design, life-cycle engineering, re-manufacturing, economics, public policy, business strategy, ecology, and ethics. We also recognize the important role that artists, photographers, filmmakers, and writers can play. All aspects of society are central in promoting sustainability: individuals, communities, government bodies, interest groups, etc. Everyone can play a role in understanding how to move forward on the path to sustainability. Share with us what this commitment means to you.
