Ted Naganawa
Ted Naganawa is a longtime resident of Chicago, a former financial market expert at JP Morgan, a private policy writer, a frequent visitor to Hong Kong and other parts of the Greater China area, and president of Ted Naganawa LLC, a research consulting company, which provides various US-China strategic advisory services for institutional clientele.
Ted has more than 10 years of financial market experience at JP Morgan’s futures division in Chicago, specializing in US Treasury and Eurodollars short-term interest rate products from macroeconomic and geopolitical perspectives, and prior to that, at Cargill Investor Services, the brokerage division of the world’s leading commodity company.
For the last few years, Ted has also been a private writer of policy essays on conservative politics, free market economy, Hong Kong democracy, and immigration reform for www.TedEssay.com, and more recently, a US-China strategist for www.TedStrategy.com, which focuses on financial, economic, and political strategies within and between the United States and China.
In the first half of 2008, Ted spent part of his time in Shanghai, China as a visiting scholar at China Center for Economic Studies, Fudan University and a part-time professor of Chinese economy at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
Ted is an MBA from Rice University in Houston, Texas, majored in finance and graduated with honors, Financial Executives Award, 1994.
