How many devices can I activate with Adobe Digital Editions?
A user can initially authorize up to 6 machines and 6 tethered devices. The user can then authorize one additional machine and one additional tethered device per year.

How many times can I download my eBook?
Most eBooks can be downloaded as many times as you need. Some publishers have set a limit of 4 downloads for eBooks and after that the book will need to be repurchased.

How do I read my e-book?
eBooks must be opened and read with the eReader software they were designed for. eReaders typically allow you to store and organize your e-books on a bookshelf or in a library, from here you can select and open your eBook for reading.

Do eBooks with DRM expire?
DRM-protected eBooks purchased on Lulu can be read forever once downloaded successfully. The only limitation is they must be read on authorized machines/devices. Once any eBook with DRM is purchased and downloaded, you can transfer it back and forth on any of your authorized machines/devices an unlimited number of times.

Can I print my eBook?
Currently Adobe Digital Editions allows a few pages at a time to be printed if the publisher/author allows.

How do I transfer an eBook to my handheld device?
You will need to transfer or synchronize your eBook to your device (eReader, Palm, Pocket PC, or iPhone/iPod Touch). If you are having trouble synchronizing your device, consult the instructions for your device.

What if my eBook doesn't download properly?
This can be caused by firewall settings, connectivity problems, or an issue with the eBook. Check your connection and firewall settings. If you still have an issue downloading the eBook, contact our Customer Support.

Geographical availability for eBooks
Some books are not allowed to be sold in some locations, because the eBook’s publisher only has a right to sell that book in certain countries. You might find that the eBook you want isn't available in your country.
