Any Lulu book that is 6" x 9", black & white with at least 24 pages can be converted to a 6" x 9" hardcover. Any 8.5" x 11" Lulu book with at least 24 pages can be converted to an 8.25" x 10.75" casewrap hardcover. This process clones the paperback and creates a brand new hardcover book project with a separate content ID.

Lulu offers two types of hardcover books: casewrap hardcovers and hardcovers with dust jackets. The casewrap and dust jackets are both full-color.

Dust Jacket Hardcover
Dust jacket hardcovers are offered in 6" x 9" with black & white interiors. The book inside the dust jacket is bound in navy blue B grade linen. The spine of the book will be stamped with the book's title and/or author name in gold foil (maximum of 42 characters including spaces).

Casewrap Hardcover
Casewrap hardcovers look like standard hardcover textbooks. They have full-color, glossy covers and do not come with a dust jacket. We offer casewrap hardcovers in 6" x 9" with black & white interior printing and in 8.25" x 10.75" with either black & white or color interior printing.
