photo books and calendars for celebrating all of life’s memories.
The Picture.com Story
Picture.com is the result of feedback from thousands of customers looking for a fun, easy and unique way to celebrate life’s most memorable experiences. Here are a few answers to some commonly asked questions about Lulu and Picture.com...
- How’d you get the name Picture.com?
We liked it, so we bought it. The name is as easy to remember as the web site is to use.
- Why start a new website for photo books and calendars?
Photo albums have gone the way of the 8-track. But the desire to preserve photos and relive memories is as great as ever. People are taking more pictures every day, everywhere we go, and we need a way to celebrate our experiences and commemorate the people who are most special to us. Picture.com is the best way to do that.
- What’s different about the two websites?
It’s simple. Lulu lets you sell photo books and calendars and has tools for tracking your revenue and promoting your creative work. Picture.com is all about creating gifts and keepsakes for yourself, your friends and family. We’ve added the ability to invite friends and family to share photos with each other and build unique photo books and calendars with a whole new design tool focused on easy creation and customization.
- What about the pictures that I have uploaded to Lulu?
You can use those pictures to create photo books and calendars on either Lulu's Studio platform or Picture.com. We made transferring your photos from Lulu to Picture.com as easy as importing new photos from your computer or from your Facebook photo albums.
- What about the projects I have for sale?
No worries. You can continue to sell photo books and calendars created in Lulu's Studio in the lulu.com marketplace.
- Should I tell all my friends about Picture.com?
Yes, every one of them. Be sure you make a photo book or a calendar first so you can be the authentic voice of experience.
- I have more questions, what should I do?
