Well, I got a copy of the book Residue Of Day yesterday, and glad I did before anyone else bought it. It really needed quite a few adjustments, and some working out of bugs concerning color of title in cover, etc. It looks a great deal better now, and hope to order several copies myself for Christmas gifts for my family. razzKatie

Well, this is all so new and exciting to me. I just self published my mothers first poem book, and she would be so proud. biggrinI know my work has really now just begun, and will work hard to promote this book. I also have many more in mind, as I will not run out of material for years, seeing how she wrote well over 3,000 poems, plus so much more. Also, since I have been recording her poems, I have found the inspiration to write also. I hope to one day do a book of my own. But, as of now, I am in baby steps.

For almost 2 years, I have put my mothers poems on Authors Den, which can be found at www.authorsden.com ~Her reviews are wonderful there, and I have been encouraged to do a book for her based on their comments and reviews. For a long time, I was pretty much against POD, but have now changed my mind. The way the world is going, we never know what the next day brings, and I made a promise to her to publish her works. I really don't think it would matter to her how I did it, just as long as I did it. Now, like the new show, "My Name Is Earl", I can scratch that off my list of things to do, especially since it was the most important thing for me to do.

I hope as time goes on, and I learn the ropes, this book will do well and people will read her wonderful words.

Katie
