W.A.F.U. Albert Robinson believes the place to be in the Royal Navy in April 1939 is as a pilot in the Fleet Air Arm, he sees no future in battleships. The events that are about to enfold around him over the next six years of his young life will both enrapture, excite and almost kill him. This is his story and the story of the Fleet Air Arm he is serving in from Chamberlain's declaration of war to the surrender of Japan.
