R.J. Dekarro is a screenplay writer, poet, and author. He is a professionally trained property adjuster, stock market trader, and real estate investor. He has spent the last decade honing his writing craft and exploring new ways to bring his engaging stories and plot lines in front of a national audience. His other works include Identity Crisis, Heat Trap, Covenant, Mind Over Matter, and the forthcoming Harems. R.J. has a B.S. Degree in both Business Management and Marketing. He has completed numerous writing courses and seminars, particularly at the University of Rhode Island and U Mass Amherst. He is part of the Rhode Island Film Collaborative, with experience in acting, producing, and directing. He is also a Music Producer and Recording Artist, going under the moniker The Jackyl as part of the rap group, Intervention. He currently resides in Providence, RI, where he also runs an Adoption League for Small Animals.
