Godders is the pseudonym of British born writer Ronnie Godliman, a retired professional engineer living in the Somerset area of the UK. After an idyllic childhood even though losing his mother when he was only 10 years old, a short military service sojourn, followed by an unsuccessful soccer career, cut down by a serious knee injury, he trained as a professional engineer, working on military bases in the UK and abroad, plus time on both gas and oil rigs in the North Sea. Married now for over forty years, the couple have two grown up children and seven grandchildren. Practicing christian people, they enjoy entertaining and meeting people during periodic away trips.
