It has been said that “the eye is the window to the soul.” And metaphorically speaking a “window to the world” is used convey the idea that other things (reading a book, observing nature, viewing art) gives you a broader perspective of the world than you would otherwise have or experience.
These images focus on the Windows we observe and use in our daily lives. Some windows are bright and colorful, others are run down, weathered, broken, missing, boarded up, or reflecting the world outside. The windows I have selected for the calendar attempt to illustrate the many windows we have in life, and the effect they have upon our emotions, life situations, and observations.
