POEMS- 3 haikus and 1 narrative poem all detailing certain ideas about life. The three haikus all deal with different aspects of life and come together in this writing for a greater understanding of living and writing. The first discusses the idea of writing poetry through irony. The second deals with thoughts of grief and the comptemplation of how things could have been. The third is more abstract, dealing in the complex idea of real, raw emotion. The one narrative poem discusses very heavy topics through a diologue between a man and his ceiling. It is reflective of the ¨Lying awake in bed¨ feeling that is all too common. When these works are compiled into a single collection, they all aid the others message despite no inherit connection. STORIES- This piece contains 8 stories. Each story deals with a theme in life. These themes are told through demonstrative emotion via the characters. Every one of the stories paints a vivid picture for the reader to enjoy. Each character faces an extreme problem and deals with it in different ways. These stories come together overall to teach a lesson about dealing with problems, as not all stories end the same way. Each character has a different story to tell and a different idea to express, but it all comes back to the reader. Shreds of reality hide within these fantasies, it is the role of the reader to discern the true message of each story.
